Fees for Services
Fees are standardized according to the type of building and service required and are based on the amount of time spent performing the work. Additional fees will be added if the time spent travelling the building site, performing the field inspection and preparing the report exceed set limits.
Standard Home Inspection: When the amount of time spent on site does not exceed three hours except when other fees for service are applicable.
Fee for a Standard Home Inspection: 375.00
Town-home Inspection: When the floor area of the multi-level attached dwelling does not exceed 2500 square feet and the time spent on site does not exceed two and one-half hours except when other fees for service are applicable.
Fee for a standard Townhome Inspection: 325.00
Condominium: When the floor area of single level attached dwelling does not exceed 2000 square feet and the time spent on site does not exceed two hours except when other fees for service are applicable.
Fee for a standard Condominium Inspection: 275.00
New Construction: Foundation, framing and final inspections which do not exceed one, two, and three hours of time spent on site except when other fees for service are applicable are as follows:
Foundation Inspection: 225.00
Framing/Pre-Drywall Inspection: 325.00
Final Inspection: 325.00 when combined with framing
Research and documntation exceeding normal report preparation will be billed at 50.00 per hour
Energy Review: Review of building shell and HVAC systems will be charged at an hourly rate with a one-hour minimum.
Fees for Energy Review: 100.00 per hour
Hourly fees and other services: On site inspections which last beyond standard times and fees for services such as single component pool, septic, outbuildings, etc. will be added to the standard fee.
Single system inspections: Inspections covering a single component such as Roof, Structure, Heating and Cooling will be charged on an hourly basis with a minimum of one hour.
Hourly or single system inspections fees: 150.00 per hour
