• The address, including city, county and zip code.
   
• For new homes please include the subdivision name, lot number, sales office phone and existing cross street or landmark.
   
• Your email address, cell phone and your real estate agents' email address and cell phone.
   
• The appoximate age of the home.
   
• A day and time. Inspections take about 3 hours. Your presence is encouraged.
   
• Is the house occupied or vacant?  I have a lockbox key and can enter an occupied home but only with permission from the homeowner.  
   
• Visit the report section of this website and click on the draft report link to view a draft of the inspection report. At the end of the report read the Scope of Services Contract.
   
• Read the inspection clause of the your real estate contract. Try to fit the inspection into the "Free Look" timeframe.
   
• Allow as much lead time as possible: the sooner you schedule an inspection the better. Reports are usually emailed or faxed within a day.
