An arbor and more pictures of painted houses
We went looking for an arbor on West Wesley and photographed some houses with paint and stone.

Gordon said there was an above average arbor so we went looking for it. We have a place for an arbor so it's one our mind if not our budget. We now scouting darker painted houses everywhere we go. We found some with stone paint combinations that may help us make up our mind. (Please see this and this about exterior colors for more,)

Here is the arbor:

Arched arbor atlanta
This arbor probably has more lumber than our whole house.

And some of the painted houses:

This was nice. Great color, great roof, great driveway texture and color.
The stone really pops.

Sherwood Forrest stone brick, shingles.

Yellow with palm tree on E. Ponce?

Not quite our color of stone.

Paint blends with stone in this one.

A bit darker than our stone.

Better in person.

Heading home through Buckhead thinking about darker paint we passed this landmark at Peachtree, Roswell Rd., and Paces Ferry. This look really good to us. Maybe not the best for our place though.
