Announcement - February 5, 2004 - Your help needed to plant trees in the neighborhood on February 7

Volunteers are needed THIS SATURDAY MORNING to help plant 70 trees
furnished by Trees Atlanta and funded by the Morningside Lenox Park
Association.  One can see the positive effects of these annual events
on streets throughout our neighborhood.  Interested in some terrific
weekend exercise with folks from the 'hood for a great cause?  Just
show up at 9am this coming Saturday morning, Feb 7th at the Morningside
Presbyterian Church parking lot.  Dress warmly and bring work gloves
and a shovel if you have one.  As of press time about 10 more
volunteers were needed to finish all the plantings by noon.  MLPA Parks
Co-Chairs Karen Schaefer and Charlotte Gillis thank you in advance for
pitching in.
