***** Grady seniors, Sam Bryant and Jimmy Wert were nominated for the Presidents Scholarship  Program.  There are 57 candidates from Georgia and the only two students from APS.   See Atlanta Journal Constitutions 2-8-01 City Life section.

***** Grady Basketball teams begin tournament.  Girls played Holy Innocents on Thursday 2-8-01.  Boys play Friday 2-9-01 at Crim, 8:30.

***** Grady Photography Exhibit at Ponce de Leon Library. Mr. Mosier's photography classes are celebrating Black History Month with us throughout the month of February. The photos of Grady junior and senior students will be exhibited from now until February 28. A SMALL reception will take place at our branch on February 14 at 6 p.m. For more information or reservations, they can contact Vickie Beene-Beavers by phone (404.885.7820)
