****Construction of an new stone entry feature for the 10th street entrance is underway. The Boy's High alumni, spearheaded by Leon Eplan, raised the funds for the  construction. The Grady Foundation is assisting as well. The entry will hold an arch that will span the entrance road and display the Grady High name.  The stone columns will have brass plaques that honor Boys High. The entry  will accommodate the eventual building of sidewalks on either side of the existing driveway.

****GHS Athletic Boosters would like to know if you are interested in becoming an officer on the Booster Club.  We will vote on a list of candidates at our last meeting (TBD).  The officers we will be voting on are:  President/Co President, Secretary, Treasure, and are looking for a parent/student representatives from each of the athletic teams.  If you are interested, please contact Sarah Chaffin or Christi Johnson by email at boyzmom5487@msn.com   or christi.johnson@bellsouth.com by 5-13

**Mary Lin Elementary School will have a used athletic shoe drive in order to obtain a grant from Nike Re-use -A-Shoe. There will be barrels for collection May 6-10. We would love it if other community schools would participate and clean out their closets at the same time. For more info., call the school@ 404-371-7158. Thank you!
