***The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is sponsoring a fundraiser for the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  We have collection containers in each homeroom. If anyone would like to support St. Jude with a donation, please make the check payable to St. Jude and send the check to Grady by your child or by mail to Grady High, 929 Charles Allen Dr., Atl.30309.  If mailed please make it to the attention of Mrs. Ukah (HOSA advisor).  Your support is appreciated. Thank you.

***Volunteers are needed to help provide lunch for 10-12 academic fair judges on Dec 12. Please call Diane Terrell 404-892-0072 or e-mail at atlantaddt@aol.com.

***The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is sponsoring a blood drive for our community and school on Friday November 22, 2002.  Please help to make this a successful drive.  You may sign up to give blood with any HOSA member or come by room 108.  We will have a table near the front office with a HOSA member to sign up interested individuals starting November 1st.

***Toothpaste and Spanish Books Needed! Ms. Whitten's world geography classes will be sending a care package of toothpaste and Spanish Books to their Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay,  South America before Thanksgiving. Please help us fill the package by donating tubes of toothpaste and Spanish language books for children and teens.

***Help Grady Families: The Interact Club and the Student Government Association are teeming up to provide needy members of the Grady Community with Thanksgiving boxes. Each box will contain a turkey, bread, dressing, fresh vegetables, and canned goods. You can help by providing canned/dry goods for the Canned Food Drive going on November  4-20. We hope to collect enough canned goods for the Thanksgiving boxes as well as for the 11-Alive Can-A-Thon. Please send your canned goods through your child or send to the attention of Ms. Whitten in the main office. Boxes for canned goods will be in each homeroom and the homeroom that collects the most cans will receive a Pizza Party! Thanks for your continued support!
