***The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is sponsoring a blood drive for our community and school on Friday November 22, 2002.  Please help to make this a successful drive.  You may sign up to give blood with any HOSA member or come by room 108.  We will have a table near the front office with a HOSA member to sign up interested individuals starting November 1st.

***Toothpaste and Spanish Books Needed! Ms. Whitten's world geography classes will be sending a care package of toothpaste and Spanish Books to their Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay,  South America before Thanksgiving. Please help us fill the package by donating tubes of toothpaste and Spanish language books for children and teens.

***Help Grady Families: The Interact Club and the Student Government Association are teeming up to provide needy members of the Grady Community with Thanksgiving boxes. Each box will contain a turkey, bread, dressing, fresh vegetables, and canned goods. You can help by providing canned/dry goods for the Canned Food Drive going on November  4-20. We hope to collect enough canned goods for the Thanksgiving boxes as well as for the 11-Alive Can-A-Thon. Please send your canned goods through your child or send to the attention of Ms. Whitten in the main office. Boxes for canned goods will be in each homeroom and the homeroom that collects the most cans will receive a Pizza Party! Thanks for your continued support!

Cynda Rosenbaum has just informed me that we have a lot of Grady Soccer
t-shirts, etc that we need to sell at discounted prices.

Terry, can you post the following information on the Grady Grams?

John, can you talk you some of your boys as several X-L and XXL shirts are
available?

Girls, come and see me if you want to buy a cheap shirt for yourself or as a
Christmas gift. If we sell all these shirts, we'll have some more cash in our
budget for extra coaching/gear for this season.

Here's what we have:

~ 2002 Long Sleeve t-shirts ($6) - 15 L, 5 XL

~ Undated Short sleeve ($5) 4 S, 3 M, 17 L, 8 XL, 2 XXL

~ Maroon Grady Bags ($10) 19 in stock

~ Grady Water bottles ($2) 50 in stock

The bags and water bottles are for any student. The tee-shirts are for soccer
players and families only.
