***The Interact Club will be holding a book sale to raise money for the African Library Project, which is helping to build a library in Rwanda. So that we can raise as much money as possible for the project, the Interact Club is asking for book donations. Although all donations will be greatly appreciated, classic, children, mystery, health-related, reference, and how-to books are ideal. Donations can be sent to Ms. Whitten's room, room #302 through March. Thank you!

*** Magnet Coffee will be held on January 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the media center. Since the size of this event has grown, we can no longer comfortably fit in a home. This is an informative meeting to provide prospective parents of eighth graders with details about the Communication Magnet. Flyers have gone to all of the middle schools. Parents with students in private schools may appreciate getting information about the coffee from their neighbors.

***The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is sponsoring a coat and blanket drive to run through January.  Please send coats and/or blankets to Grady High, Room 108.  Your generosity will be appreciated by those in need of warmth this cold winter.
