The End Of You

Hot Rock, "The End Of You"

This has more riffs than the average S-K song.  The main riff is odd - how do you make a song out of that?  The 4th measure of riff 3 is odd and sounds dissonant, but it works.  Tension builds in Riff 4. Then, there is a 2 Riff outro.  Pretty nice.

  • Quarter note = 154 or so
  • Standard tuning.
  • Tabbed where it felt good on the fretboard.
  • Guitar 2 would be more authentic if tuned dropped D and down a half step but it's not really necessary.
  • I hope you can be patient for the graphics to load.

Riff 1 gets played over two different base lines:

The End of You Riff 1

Here is another way to play Riff 1

The End of You Riff 1 Alternate

Riff 2:

The End of You Riff 2

They go through 4 bars of Riff 3 in 4 times.  There is a little variation mostly in the 4th bar of each.  I did the first and the last for the 4th bar:

The End of You Riff 3

Riff 4:

The End of You Riff 4

Riffs 5 and 6 are outros:
