Start Together

Hot Rock, "Start Together"

Great song.  The main riffs keep twisting and turning while remaining mostly the same.  They are relentless.

  • Quarter note = 140 or so
  • Standard tuning.
  • Tabbed where it felt good on the fretboard.
  • Guitar 2 would be more authentic if tuned dropped D and down a half step but it's not really necessary.
  • I hope you can be patient for the graphics to load.

Riff 1 gets played over two different base lines:

Start Together Riff 1

Here is the second base line for Riff 1

Start Together Riff 2

This is pretty straight forward, guitar two varies up to all eigth notes:

Start Together Riff 3

The exitement comes in this riff.  It ends one way the first time and another way the second time:

Start Together Riff 4

Riff 5 is a variation on Riff 1 with two different endings:

Start Together Riff 5

The Outro riff is another variation:

Start Together Riff 6
