Funeral Song

One Beat, "Funeral Song"

The throw in some extra beats and measures.  It's relatively slow but packed with riffs  Getting Riff 1 up to speed might take some work but you can just strum chords if you like.  It's worth trying to learn though because is playable, syncopated, and sounds cool.  With enough practice your hands will do it automatically and you can apply it to loads of other songs.

The vocals add a great deal to the harmony as usual.

  • Quarter note = 130 or so.  Slower than average.
  • Standard tuning.
  • Tabbed where it felt good on the fretboard but there are alternatives.
  • These images a pretty big.  I hope you can be patient for the graphics to load.  (They aren't that big, I hope.)

Riffs 1, 2, and 3.  This shouldn't be too confusing if you are familiar with the song.
